This issue of The Arthur Miller Journal shows how approaches to Miller's work are evolving after the celebration of his centennial. The journal thrives because Miller's plays continue to be taught in schools and universities, performed in theaters around the globe, and reexamined by scholars and critics.

Many of the articles and the notes in this issue are new readings or reevaluations of his plays because of recent productions. The essays and notes on A View from the Bridge spring from Ivo van Hove's groundbreaking version that won Olivier and Tony Awards. The performance review section includes a symposium on the 2017 Broadway revival of The Price, which is now fostering new perspectives on that drama. This fourth Broadway revival of Miller's 1968 play is the first production to receive a major award. …
