This issue of the journal contains three (3) papers that provide theoretical analysis of issues that are of general interest to the operation of business across a range of disciplines.

Articles

The first paper "University students' alcohol expectancies and self-esteem: An investigation of difference by students' gender" (Sharma, Kotey & Reinhard, 2018) examines whether there is a difference in university students' alcohol expectancies and their self-esteem by students' gender. The results indicate that female students have significantly lower expectancy in social and physical pleasure, sexual enhancement, power and aggression, and careless unconcern by drinking alcohol than those of their male counterparts. Female students were also found to be significantly lower in some aspects of self-esteem than male students.

The second paper "Management Accounting in the Australian Printing Industry: A Survey" (Laing & Perrin, 2018) examines the management accounting methods being used to allocate overheads in the printing industry in Australia. …
