What a wealth of hymnody from around the world is discussed in this issue of The Hymn! Sida Roberts gave us a taste at our Annual Conference last summer of the hymns from Romanian author and composer Nicolae Moldoveanu; for those who missed that session, here is a good summary of that body of hymnody and the work being done with it currently. Andrew-John Bethke was one of the presenters at the Emerging Scholars sectional in Redlands and provides here a glimpse into collaborations in South African hymnody. Mikie Roberts, editor of Caribbean Moravian Praise, brings us a look into that hymnal's process. Adam Tice shares an exercise to for writing hymns that you might want to try alone or with a group.
