Dallas, Texas, July 14-18, for our conference . . . Canterbury, England, the following week for the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland . . . . Halle, Germany, in the week of July into August for the IAH (Internationale Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Hymnologie/International Fellowship for Hymnological Studies) . . . Ripon College, Cuddeston, England, July 30-August 2 for the conference on Christian Congregational Music . . . plus probably a dozen denominational and organizational conferences this coming summer which will have a component or more of congregational singing. Where will you be singing, nurturing your spirit, and building community?

In my non-professional readings in the last month, I have read multiple articles about the benefits, individually and communally, of singing together- from community choruses to small groups singing in hospices and hospitals to a community banding together to sing to protest problems around a ferry service in Scotland. Singing together can change lives.
