Storms of Grace is a collection of 24 hymns of high integrity. All texts are written by Richard Leach, are based on scripture, and cover a range of topics. These texts are framed by the music of James E. Clemens.

There is also great variety in the music presentations; from a snappy modal dance that jumps off the page in "Trust the Lord" to the quiet, meditative "All We Need Is in Our Hands" and "Come Wind." There are two hymns that are written as canons with no accompaniment supplied for them. Congregations with strong vocal leadership can sing both effectively.

I have always felt that these small congregational hymnaries are wonderful assets for choirs, and this collection is especially so. "All We Need Is in Our Hands" and "We Belong to Jesus' Body" each include a contrasting part and descant that a choir could readily utilize.
