Simon Ward is chief executive of Brodeur Worldwide. He was previously marketing director of the online subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland. He joined RBS from the Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO group.

I had to get my ruler out for this one. The invisible lines this writing sits on are very interesting. Just look at those emphasised starting strokes when the letter t starts a word. He is a fast-thinking, exacting individual who insists on getting the preparation right.

Interestingly, although he wrote at speed, he did not simplify or abbreviate the punctuation marks - a sure sign that this chap knows the importance of timing.

All of the measurements I have taken point to him being highly pro-active.

This is an all-encompassing individual - always in the 'here and now' and yet always with something else bubbling away at the back of his mind.He's generous, but it is sort of conditional.He is not a soft touch.

He has a strong sense of justice and will not hesitate to fight other people's corners for them. …
