Whether it's a visit to one of the city's famed music clubs, a trip to an art exhibit, the kickoff of an NFL game or experiencing the start of the holiday season, there is always something going on in Music City U.S.A.

National League of Cities Congress of Cities attendees will be able to experience the very best of Nashville in December.

NLC attendees can begin and end their stay in Nashville with the Tennessee Titans. The Titans host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Dec. 7, and follow it up with a game against the Buffalo Bills on Dec. 14. Both games are at The Coliseum, Nashville's 66,000-seat football stadium located downtown on the banks of the Cumberland River. See for yourself why Tennessee Titans fans are known around the league as the NFL's best fans.

There is more sports excitement for hockey fans. The NHL Nashville Predators have home games on Dec. 11 with the Los Angeles Kings and on Dec. 13 with the Florida Panthers. Both games are at the downtown Gaylord Entertainment Center.

With the start of the holiday season, attendees will be able to experience one of Nashville's seasonal highlights with "A Country Christmas" at the Opryland Hotel. Nearly 2 million fights are used to transform the hotel into a winter wonderland. You can tour the holiday extravaganza while listening to the many performers throughout the hotel. Opryland will also be home to the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the world-famous Rockettes and the Fantasy on Ice shows appearing throughout December.

The holiday spirit can be found downtown at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. …
