Summer Special, Full Text/Half Price

Last year, Morrie Goldstein, president of Information Access Company (IAC), told attendees at an ASIDIC conference that database producers needed to, "engage in creative thinking about product packaging and pricing." Well apparently, Mr. Goldstein took his creative thoughts to Dialog and the two companies have come up with a summer full text special. Running from June 1 through August 31, 1991, the special promotion gives Dialog users a 50 percent price reduction on full text records in four popular databases published by IAC.

The trade and industry databases are comprised of news and information spanning 30 major industries. Featured is coverage of over 1,300 indexed trade journals and industry periodicals, half of which contain full text.

The computer files represent a full text source of worldwide company news and product reviews in computer-related industries. Database coverage includes over 180 leading publications. Virtually all of the indexed titles feature informative abstracts, and nearly half of the titles contain full text. …
