Drawing and illustration programs need not be used only by professional graphic designers. What about brochures and marketing pieces for your library or information center? How about directional signs and posters? Perhaps even training manuals could become more lively if dressed up with some special effects a la CorelDraw. One danger in all of this (for someone like me) is that I suspect CorelDraw could become compulsive ! Corel Systems has recently announced the availability of CorelDraw on CD-ROM (it includes over 3,500 clip art images), as well as plans to release OS/2 and UNIX versions. InfoWorld rated this last release at 8.3, a solid endorsement.
