For us, Valentine's Day represents the crescendo of a delicious fourmonth candy-eating odyssey that began back in October with Halloween, graduated to the wonderful sweets of Thanksgiving, picked up steam with a potpourri of treats during Christmas and New Year's, before wrapping up with the calendar's annual salute to lovers. Valentine's Day is a fitting final chapter; after all, if you can't get passionate about chocolate, what can you get excited about?
