J.P. Morgan Invest LLC of Boston has hired Anthony Morose as its chief financial officer.

The J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. subsidiary operates BrownCo, a discount online brokerage service.

As the CFO, Mr. Morose will oversee J.P. Morgan Invest's finance, risk management, and administrative functions. He will report to Kenneth Klipper, the unit's chief executive officer.

Mr. Morose was the head of the large plan account management group in the corporate employee services division at FMR Corp., which is better known as Fidelity Investments.

Citizens Financial Group Inc., a Providence, R.I., unit of Royal Bank of Scotland Group PLC, has named Blake Jordan the managing director for its Citizens Bank Foundation

Mr. Jordan will remain the director of community sponsorships and a vice president at one of Citizens' banking units, Citizens Bank of Massachusetts, which he joined in 2000.

The foundation channels more than $18 million of donations and awards a year to nonprofit organizations.


Mellon Financial Corp. of Pittsburgh has promoted Kevin L. Shearan to executive vice president.

Mr. Shearan remains the head of technology delivery. In that job, he directs the activities of software engineers and application developers.

He joined Mellon in 1997 and has been a member of its senior management committee since 2001.

Export-Import Bank of America in Washington has hired Fernanda F. Young as its chief information officer.

Ms. Young had held the same job at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission since joining it in 1999. Before that she had been the assistant commissioner of the Office of Information Resources Management at the Immigration and Naturalization Service for six years.

Earlier she had been the chief of information systems and technology at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. …
