The saying "A picture paints a thousand words" has found new meaning through The Mind Gallery, founded by Anne Fildes and Trish Elkington, where leaders and companies develop their message through pictures and sculptures. The Mind Gallery, consisting of a team of professional artists, corporate motivators and facilitators, help business teams to visualise, draw and paint their mission statement. Through previous workshops with clients including Melbourne Cricket Club, Oracle Corporation, Plum Financial Services and Essendon Football Club. The Mind Gallery has brought fun and involvement into company strategies and key messages.

At a luncheon recently co-hosted by Stamford Plaza Melbourne at their prestigious venue, No. 7 Alfred Place, guests including senior corporate executives, conference organisers and human resources and training consultants reflected on the year and what accomplishments they had individually made. These mental images were transformed, with the use of colour, into shapes and symbols to bring holistic visual meaning to individual accomplishments. The historic beauty of the venue enriched the luncheon by providing a prestigious and charming backdrop to guests, allowing them to relax and bring meaning to achievements.

Stamford Hotels and Resorts Group acquired No. 7 Alfred Place in 1999 and the venue has been restored and refurbished to reflect its heritage status. For almost 120 years, the building has played host to Melbourne society, most notably when it was the home of the renowned Mietta's restaurant,
