Why did you get into marketing?

I started in PR, but found I wanted to work in a field that was more strategically focused yet retained the scope to be creative. So I moved into marketing.

What would be your dream job if you could choose anything?

I'd love to set up a company that lets people hire a dog for an hour when they go walking in the park.

What is your favourite campaign or slogan?

I liked the old slogan of Avis, 'We're number two, so we try harder', especially when I discovered it wasn't number two when it came up with it.

What's your favourite cliche?

When people say something is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Do you have any hidden talents?

A colleague and I perform as DJs at people's leaving parties. We call ourselves Ginga Ninja (she has ginger hair) and Hamster Wheel Spinna, and together we're the Ninja Spinnas. We're rubbish at mixing but play great records. …
