Area 3

Notice is given of a vacancy to represent Area 3 (east Midlands) on council. The casual vacancy will be until the close of the 2005 AGM, as prescribed by bye-law 39(b). At the close of the 2005 AGM the successful candidate may stand for re-election for a further three-year term in accordance with bye-law 38. Nominations for candidates (fellows) to fill this casual vacancy may be made by any six or more members (three of whom must be fellows) whose official addresses are in Area 3 (see note 1).

Area 5

Notice is given of a vacancy to represent Area 5 (north east England) on council. Nominations for candidates (fellows) to fill the vacancy may be made by any six or more members (three of whom must be fellows) whose official addresses are in Area 5 (see note 1). The vacancy will be until the close of the 2007 AGM.

Nomination forms for candidates may be obtained from the secretariat at CIMA, 26 Chapter Street, London SW1P 4NP, or e-mail your request to erica.lee@cimaglobal.com. Forms are also available from the branch secretaries in Areas 3 and 5.

Nominations must be received on the prescribed form by the chief executive at 26 Chapter Street, London SW1P 4NP by noon on Monday 1 November 2004 (foxes are acceptable, but must be followed by the original). If more than one candidate is nominated, ballot forms will be sent to each member in the area(s) concerned. These must be returned in the envelope provided to the Electoral Reform Society by the due date for receipt of votes. …
