Someone who is not stressed easily. The airline industry is fairly hectic and you need to be able to respond quickly to events.

Good - everyone gets on and there is some great banter.

What are the perks of the job?

The travel industry is brilliant for perks. We get reduced fares on many flights. They are standby tickets, so if the flight is overbooked you will not get on. But pounds 90 to New York, who can complain?

What are the hours like?

Generally 9-5.30.

What is it like for training and career progression?

There are comprehensive opportunities for training both internally and externally and, being an international company, career progression is a distinct possibility. We're encouraged to go on marketing courses and are sent to the head office in Amsterdam for training.

What about the salary and benefits?

Competitive for the airline industry.

What is it like working in the airline sector at the moment?

Unpredictable. There are continuous changes occurring within the industry and the environment that affect airlines. That necessitates quick reactions.
