What is beautiful to you? You might think of a big bright sunrise or sunset. Your idea of beauty might include a rose or a snow-covered mountain. Do you think some things are beautiful and other things are ordinary?

If you were going to make a painting of something beautiful, what would you choose? Would you have to search for something to paint? Where would you look? Where is beauty?

Edward Weston was an American photographer who grew up in Chicago. While he was a boy, he began making pictures with his camera. He made pictures of everything he saw. He found beauty in everything. Even the things that were ordinary to most people were beautiful to Edward.
