AIBF Academic Prizes

Article excerpt

On an annual basis the AIBF has sponsored prizes for academic achievement in banking and finance studies at tertiary institutions in Australia and New Zealand. Through these awards the Institute recognises excellence and provides an incentive for students to aim for the best possible results in their courses.

The prizes benefit recipients financially and professionally, sometimes leading directly to selection into, or advancement in, the banking and finance industry. Every year the prize list includes banking and finance practitioners who have successfully juggled their professional life and studies.

The Institute Prize is awarded either to top students in specified banking and finance subjects or to top graduates in both undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Australian and New Zealand universities.

The Institute extends its congratulations to all those awarded prizes for their outstanding academic performance in 2004.
