MIDDLE ATLANTIC

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. of New York has named Charles McIlvaine and Keith Wargo the co-heads of its consumer investment banking practice in the Americas.

Mr. McIlvaine, a new hire, has also been named a managing director; Mr. Wargo remains one.

Mr. McIlvaine had been a managing director of the consumer investment banking group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. for the past seven years, specializing in consumer product sectors. For four years before that he worked at Paine Webber Inc.

Mr. Wargo joined the Deutsche Bank AG unit as a managing director of the consumer investment banking practice in 2004. Before that he had been a director at a similar group at Goldman, Sachs and Co., specializing in the retail sector. They will report to James DeNaut and Jacques Brand, the co-heads of Deutsche Bank Securities' corporate finance coverage in the Americas.

Commerce Insurance Services Inc. of Cherry Hill, N.J., has hired Frank Proctor as a senior vice president of sales.

Mr. Proctor will lead the Commerce Bancorp Inc. unit's commercial insurance and employee benefits sales teams.

He was a vice president of new business development at the Philadelphia insurance broker Graham Co., where he worked the past 11 years.
