It's that time again. The Software Information Industry Association (SIIA) announced the Codie Awards. Billed as the only peer-recognized awards program of its kind in the information industry, the awards are known as "the Oscars of the software industry." The 21st annual awards, which honored outstanding achievement and vision in the 71 categories in the worlds of content, software, and education, were presented at the Codie Awards Gala on May 16 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.

According to SIIA, there were a record number of 348 finalists this year, narrowed down from more than 1,026 nominations made by 500-plus companies. Here are the 13 winners from the Content category:
