A CD-ROM drive tower that users may easily reconfigure--adding and removing drives, as needed--is now available from Online Computer Systems Inc.

In application, the tower provides users of stand-alone and networked IBM-compatible personal computers access to huge amounts of data, CD-ROM-based applications and multimedia software that may be stored on the multiple CD-ROMs mounted in the tower.

Combined with Online's OPTI-NET family of CD-ROM networking software, the tower also provides users of NetWare, Personal NetWare, Windows for Workgroups, LANtastic and other network operating systems with fast, efficient access to multiple, shared CD-ROM drives and CD-ROM-based applications, including multimedia.

Compatible with ISA, EISA and MCA systems, the tower supports up to seven double-speed SCSI-2 CD-ROM drives and is available from Online configured with four, five, six or seven drives.

A docking kit optionally available from Online enables users to easily add a new drive in the field, as needed. …
