OneSource Signs Agreement with American Banker, Inc

Article excerpt

OneSource Information Services, Inc., a provider of business and financial information products, has made an agreement with American Banker, Inc. to create a database distribution partnership for the electronic version of American Banker, the daily publication of the banking industry.

OneSource and American Banker will jointly market the stand-alone product American Banker Full-Text for use in the Lotus Notes environment, with monthly updates. The Notes environment makes the product fully clipboard compliant. Users are able to extract information from American Banker Full-Text and easily copy it into popular Windows word processing and presentation graphics software, as well as Lotus 1-2-3 and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. For instance, users can export information from American Banker's statistical rankings, which rank financial institutions from thrifts to commercial banks on hundreds of criteria, directly into a spreadsheet to perform statistical comparisons.

Like all CD/Notes titles, American Banker Full-Text can be used in conjunction with Corporate Monitor, OneSource's client-server application that integrates numeric and textual information from various Notes-based sources, including the CD/Notes databases, the user's own Notes-based data, and real-time news feeds. …
