SIRSI Systems Installed at Three Sites

SIRSI Corporation is pleased to announce that its systems have been installed at the Burlington Public Library, the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Technical Information Center (RTIC), and the Bluffton-Richland Public Library.

The SIRSI UNICORN Collection Management System is installed on an IBM RISC System/6000 Model 34H host computer at the Burlington Public Library, Burlington, Wisconsin, Burlington High, Burlington Middle, Cooper Elementary, Waller Elementary, and Winkler Elementary Schools will be connected via digital telephone lines. In addition to the Bibliographic and Inventory Control Modules, the libraries have licensed the Acquisitions, Authority Control, Circulation, Enhanced Public Access Materials Booking, and Serials Control Modules, and the Multiuser Gateway. The Burlington library system is a joint venture between the public library and the school system. The system serves over 14,000 patrons and has a total collection of approximately 101,400 items.

SIRSI's STILAS is installed on a DECstation 5000 host computer at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Technical Information Center (RTIC), located in Commerce City, Colorado. The center has licensed the Acquisitions Module; Authority Control Module; Bibliographic and Inventory Control Module; Circulation Module; Enhanced Public Access Module; Intelligent Interfaces to DROLS, DIALOG, and OCLC EPIC; Multiuser gateway; Serials Control Module; and STINFO Tracking Module. …
