Why you started: On the 11th annual National Day of Silence--April 18, 2007--I was the victim of a hate crime. My VW Beetle was vandalized because it sported a rainbow sticker. The words FAG and U R GAY were spattered in red spray paint all over the hood and driver side. Despite my initial shock and embarrassment, I've decided to embrace what happened and to keep driving my car in order to bring more public awareness of the blatant homophobia that exists in our society.

Purpose of blog: To document my experiences driving my fagbug across the country. I'm taking it to as many different communities as possible. I will be gathering feedback for my fagbug documentary, which will teach us about the intolerance that exists. The goal is to get as many people as possible to add fagbug rainbow stickers to their cars so that no one else will be targeted, as I was. …
