Microsoft Corp. has announced that four new CD-ROM titles are scheduled to become available during the spring and summer months. These are Julia Child: Home Cooking with Master Chefs, Microsoft Wine Guide, Microsoft Dogs, and Oceans.

Computer Cooking

Microsoft teams with Julia Child to bring interactive cooking lessons straight from the homes of talented chefs to the home PC with Julia Child. Home Cooking with Master Chefs. Based on the popular PBS television series and its companion book, this CD-ROM teaches cooking tips and techniques through a series of visits to 16 nationally acclaimed chefs, all hosted by Julia Child.

Serious cooks and newly inspired food aficionados will appreciate the easy, goat-your-own-pace lessons, which showcase each chef's personal cooking style and signature recipes. Child also leads users through a tour of her kitchen, wine cellar, and pantry to learn her trade secrets and favorite recipes. This software title allows users to scale recipes and create a menu-specific shopping list with one click of the mouse.

Julia Child: Home Cooking with Master Chefs is scheduled to be available in July on CD-ROM for the Windows operating systems for approximately $39.95. A version for the Macintosh is scheduled to be available later this year.
