Readers wrote in today about a column about two soldiers who penned an op-ed for The New York Times and were then killed in Iraq, an uncovered protest in D.C. and supposed reward for a Danish cartoonist.

That there is no end to the story or that the story ends with the death of the principals? I feel like I am in a writing class up at the college.

Personally I never bought that they had any real clue about what was really going on just like I have only the slightest knowledge about the over all picture of place where I work. I can read the news and get an idea but I am just a small part. I really think that asking Petraeus about their article would be like asking head of the department of natural resources to comment on a paper about water quality written by plumbers.
