- How would you describe the environment at DSGi?

Fast-moving and dynamic. There is always something new going on and a real focus on customer service. We have a big marketing team, as it includes not only people responsible for the brand, but also those who work on marketing different product categories, for example vision (all things TV) and imaging (all things camera), as well as the different routes to market.

Customer-focused, creative, fun.

- What is the main marketing challenge you face?

Differentiation and making our initiatives stand out from the crowd.

- How do you come up with new marketing ideas?

Customer research and feedback, an in-house creative team and the drive to beat the competition.

- What are the perks of the job?

Being the first to touch and see the latest technology. We also get discounts on products, including amazing prices on CDs and DVDs.

- Does the marketing team socialise outside office hours?

There is a big focus on celebrating success and milestones. Christmas is a crucial time for our business, so we celebrate it well.

- Is there a dress code?

Smart-casual.

- What are the hours like?

Working within the retail industry means we need to be a bit flexible, especially in the build-up to key trading times. …
