After a small flurry of new openings at the start of the year, there is a little less to report on new galleries in March, as the warming spring invites busy days of gallery visiting around London, suitably armed with a copy of Art Monthly to fend off feral dogs and rabid artlags. One name familiar to those with long memories of art trading makes a reappearance. Delaye Saltoun opened at the end of last month on Savile Row: it is a partnership between dealers Laurent Delaye and Richard Saltoun. Delaye previously operated from the space now accupied by Matthew Bown in the same street. The opening exhibition of John Latham's work (unseen spray paintings from the 50s, until April 2) signals a programme that mixes 'postwar British and international art', including artists such as Colin Self, Keith Arnatt (see Reviews p28) and Chad McCail. www.delayesaltoun.com

Decima Gallery has reopened nearly six years after closing. Formerly in Bermondsey, the gallery has upped sticks to a former peanut factory in Hackney Wick. Sandra Esquilant, the landlady of The Golden Hart pub, ceremoniously cut the black ribbon, while video and performance artist Oriana Fox created a song and dance routine for the evening. …
