Bishop Appointed Editor

Article excerpt

Ed Bishop has been selected to assume the position of editor/general manager for The St. Louis Journalism Review. Bishop will be responsible for coordinating editorial efforts, circulation and advertising for SJR. The offices for SJR will be located at Webster University. Bishop is also an adjunct professor in the Media Communications department at Webster University.

In 1992, he received a first place National Association of Black Journalists Award for Excellence in News Reporting. He has also served on the Editorial Board of the Association of Alternative News-weeklies.

His op-ed pieces, feature stories and news articles have appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Cleveland Plain Dealer, The Washington Post, and the Alternet News Service. …
