Preambles and Resolutions Adopted

At the recent meeting of the NACM Board of Directors, the following preambles and resolutions were adopted:

1) WHEREAS NACM has a desire to increase member services, such as Fax on Request, Information Central, and Internet Homepage; and

WHEREAS NACM has a desire to continue to be involved in government relations; and

WHEREAS NACM has a desire to establish dues that will be economically feasible to the membership; now therefore be it

RESOLVED that NACM dues increases hereafter be based on the Consumer Price Index as of the current fiscal year end. Said increase will become effective on the first day of the following fiscal year; and be it further

RESOLVED that the dues increases will be rounded off to the nearest quarter.

2) WHEREAS the bylaws of National establish a category of affiliated association; and

WHEREAS National has determined that Affiliate satisfies the bylaw criteria for an affiliated association; and

WHEREAS two-thirds of the NACM affiliates have approved this agreement; and

WHEREAS the parties agree that this agreement should define the manner of the affiliation and the procedures to be employed by Affiliate and National in the conduct of their relationship; and

WHEREAS the parties also agree to work with and support the objectives of the other, to the maximum extent possible; now therefore be it

RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of NACM have reviewed and approved this agreement as the sole form of contract with affiliated associations; and be it further

RESOLVED that this agreement shall become effective at the same time as NACM's amended bylaws become effective. …
