New CEO Named at Ottaway

Dow Jones & Co. appointed a new CEO for its Ottaway Group, tapping Andrew Langhoff, the group's senior vice president and general counsel. Langhoff succeeds John Wilcox who is retiring.

"These are profitable papers in strong markets with a record of achievement in journalism and in business," Les Hinton, Dow Jones chief executive, said in a statement. "Andrew's experience with Ottaway and with online technology and business development make him the ideal leader for this successful local media franchise as Dow Jones moves forward with News Corporation."

Langhoff joined Ottaway in 2003 as general counsel eventually overseeing Internet development. Before joining Dow Jones, he worked at the digital side of Walt Disney Co., where he helped launch ABCNews.com, Oprah.com, and Oscar.com as well as running business development at ESPN.com.

"Over the past few years, Ottaway has earned a reputation as one of the most innovative local media groups in the country," Langhoff said in a statement. …
