A native of Los Angeles, Chris Dellorco grew up in Hollywood, Calif., amidst the movie stars, famous musicians, artists and filmmakers of the 1970s. The artist initially received a degree in Developmental Economics from U.C. Berkeley in California, but he could not forget his childhood living among those significant and noteworthy artists. Completely self-taught, Dellorco's art career has spanned all aspects of illustration with an emphasis in the film industry, children's products and children's books. Dellorco has also successfully written and directed an award-winning short film starring Justine Bateman, which received international recognition.

For the past 15 years, Dellorco has been widely considered one of Disney's top illustrators, specializing in home-video packaging. He has also shown his artwork for many years in the Society of Illustrators Annual West Coast Exhibit, where the artist claimed "Best of Show" in 1991 and 1995.
