ISM Appoints Five New Regional Representatives

Many Ellen Bennard, the new president of ISM, has appointed, and the Executive Committee has approved, five new regional representatives to the ISM board.

* Apefa Ashiagbor, assistant commissioner for MIS, Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance, was appointed representative to Region One, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. She replaces Lou Polzella from Connecticut, who was elected to the ISM Executive Committee as first vice president.

* Richard Siemer, deputy commissioner/CIO Management Information, New York City Human Resources Administration was appointed representative to Region Two, which includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Siemer replaces Gail Adams from New York state, who was elected to the ISM Executive Committee as treasurer.

* Robert H. Martin, director, Bureau of Information Technology Services, Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Division of Enterprise Services, was appointed representative to Region Five, which includes Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Martin replaces Denise Webb from Wisconsin, who resigned.

* Todd Bright, assistant director and chief information officer. …
