S&P's Platt's Launches Internet-Delivered Commodities News and Data Service

Standard & Poor's Platt's has announced that its real-time commodities news and information service covering the energy, petrochemical, and metals markets is now available over the Internet. The Platt's Terminal on the Internet provides continuously updated premium commodities data for the financial and trading communities. It can be accessed at http://www.Platts.com.

The Platt's Terminal on the Internet features Platt's 24-hour breaking news; key benchmark prices and indexes; and an advanced option quote screen to view options data, foreign exchange rates and cross-rate table displays, charting, and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) links to spreadsheets. The service also offers live updates from commodities exchanges, including the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), Commodities Exchange (COMEX), International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX), and London Metals Exchange (LME), provided by Standard & Poor's ComStock.
