West Group has announced that it has made improvements to its KeyCite and West Legal Directory tools available on the Web.

New KeyCite Enhancements

KeyCite on the Internet has a new look with enhanced functionality, according to West Group. In addition to increased search speed, the latest enhancements to KeyCite on the Internet also enable researchers to access KeyCite directly with their traditional WESTLAW passwords. No additional password registration is required. Researchers who are not currently WESTLAW subscribers may conduct research using a credit card.

KeyCite, the citation research service from West Group, combines a full citator and case finder in one easy-to-use interface with even faster results, according to the company. KeyCite integrates all the case law on WESTLAW, and its graphical display alerts users to negative history. KeyCite enables researchers to determine whether the cases they are relying on are valid and to find additional cases and analytical materials? including American Law Reports (ALR) and law review articles, to help support their legal arguments.
