Providing quality treatment since 1993, New Found Life is a state licensed, state certified, and court approved residential treatment center with facilities for men and women located in Long Beach, California. At New Found Life, addiction to mood altering substances is recognized as a disease and not as a moral failure. Through the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous, motivational and cognitive counseling, New Found Life has structured a comprehensive, no nonsense recovery program that offers:

A positive and supportive environment-

New Found Life is located in a beautiful area overlooking the ocean, providing a serene setting that is conducive to recovery. The staff, all of whom have personal recovery experience, welcome the client to a safe and supportive environment. Individuals can focus on the healing process, knowing that they are not alone. The return of physical well being is only the first step to recovery, and educational groups round out New Found Life's treatment services so clients can build a foundation for spiritual, psychological and social wellness.

Introduction to 12-step groups-

New Found Life offers a strong 12-step immersion program. Clients attend outside meetings, meditation, book studies and in-house meetings as part of their treatment plan. …
