Improved AdSend Switches from Satellite to Internet

The AdSend division of Vio Worldwide in Cranbury, N.J., announced that its enhanced ad-delivery and retrieval system is live and includes new features for advertisers and publishers.

Citing newspapers' "overwhelmingly positive feedback" regarding the change from satellites and servers to the Internet, AdSend President Al Edwards said in a statement, "Customers are reporting that the replacement publisher product, iQ Chaser, is easy to install and configure, and will be far easier to maintain than the previous set-up."

iQ Chaser replaces the satellite feed and allows automatic downloading of ads to a publisher's chosen destination. The old and new AdSend systems will run in parallel until April 15.

For advertisers, AdSend allows users to be logged on concurrently, performing their specific tasks in the workflow. A production staffer can create tickets and send ads while an account rep can view the status and track campaigns.

Advertisers also may now access any publication within AdSend's global community, including newspapers and magazines from the United States, Canada, Mexico and the United Kingdom. …
