Atex Creates Global Product Management, Marketing Team

Atex has formed a new Global Product Management and Marketing team, announced it is using Scrum and agile software development, and started user advisory groups and CEO forums "to develop stronger connections with new and existing Atex customers by engaging them in dialogue about strategies and products."

The GPM team will also promote Atex managed services, thin-client technologies, cloud computing, and Software as a Service (SaaS), with the aim of harmonizing customer needs with process development.

The team also will focus on support for integrated workflows, improved efficiencies, reduced costs, and new revenue streams, working with customers to address emerging business requirements and digital initiatives.

The GPM team is responsible for driving product architecture, roadmaps and integration strategies for all systems, and will oversee launches into vertical markets, such as broadcast and magazines, as well as cross-media digital content management.

Corporate marketing and communications is now part of the Atex GPM, which is responsible for furthering a company commitment to common software architectures, Web services development and a shared user-interface framework across all products.

Led by Chief Technology Officer Peter Marsh, the team comprises the following Atex specialists and experts recruited as full-time global product managers: David Montgomery, chief architect; Lars Jiborn, advertising; Anders Weijnitz, Web content management; Gustaf Sahlman, Atex DNA (Digital News and Advertising); Christer Norberg, Atex OneView; Davide Garavaglia, editorial content management and managed services; Cindy Still, magazine markets; Patrik Eriksson, channel partnerships and broadcast markets; Peter Joseph, global marketing and communications manager; Keegan Skidmore, marketing communications specialist. …
