Cox Media Names Additional Management in Reorganization

As part of Cox Media's reorganization for a more integrated strategy across its radio, TV, and newspaper properties, the company on Thursday named three additional corporate appointments and four group vice presidents.

Marc Morgan was named senior vice president and chief revenue officer and Bill Hoffman, vice president and general manager of WSB-TV, the company's ABC affiliate in Atlanta, will take on the additional role as vice president of Cox Media Group. Both executives report to Sandy Schwartz, Cox Media Group's president.

A 25-year Cox veteran, Morgan most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Cox Radio.

In his new position, Hoffman will serve as the company's TV champion, coordinating syndicated programming for the stations and overseeing Cox's Washington Bureau. (Cox named radio and newspaper champions on Wednesday) when the company first announced its new business model.

In addition, Gregg Lindahl was named vice president of digital, reporting to Doug Franklin, executive vp of Cox Media Group. Lindahl was most recently vice president of interactive and news technologies for Cox Radio.

The following executives are getting group vice president titles withresponsibilities for Cox's local media properties, grouped by region.

Rich Reis will also serve as senior VP/radio operations, reportingto Bob Neil, executive vice president of Cox Media Group. …
