ResCare Acquires New Jersey Home Care Business

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- ResCare Inc. has acquired the assets of All Quality Care, a Newton, N.J., home care agency providing hourly nursing and aide services, case management, wound care, pediatric and IV therapy as well as other services to assist people in their homes. All Quality Care serves approximately 220 people in 10 counties including Sussex, Hunterdon, Warren and Essex. Annual revenues are expected to be approximately $5 million and include a mix of private, insurance and Medicaid. All Quality Care will be a part of ResCare HomeCare.

Gronefeld Jr., ResCare president and chief executive officer. "Their services fit well into our current business plan and will help us reach our goal of establishing a national home care presence."

Separately, ResCare's employment training services unit, Arbor Education & Training, has been informed that it will be part of a new private-public partnership in delivering welfare to work services in Indiana. …
