Chester Elton

NACM is excited to have Chester Elton as the General Session speaker at the 2010 Credit Congress.

Chester Elton, a sought-after speaker and recognition consultant, is the senior vice president of the Carrot Culture Group with the O.C. Tanner Recognition Company.


He has been called the "apostle of appreciation" by the Globe and Mail, Canada's largest newspaper, and "creative and refreshing" by the New York Times. As a motivation expert, Chester has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Fast Company magazine and the New York Times. He has been a guest on CNN, Bloomberg Television, ABC, Money Matters, MSNBC and on National Public Radio.

Chester is the co-author of several successful leadership books. The Carrot Principle has been a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-seller and The 24-Carrot Manager has been called a "must read for modern-day managers" by Larry King of CNN. In 2006, his book The Invisible Employee also made the New York Times best-seller list.

Chester has spoken to delighted audiences from Seattle to Singapore and from Toronto to Istanbul. In 2005, he was the highest rated speaker at the national Society for Human Resource Management's annual conference (Bill Cosby was the number two rated speaker). Educational Sessions

The 2010 Credit Congress will offer an array of compelling sessions. Ranging from introductory topics to complex subjects, these sessions will present material in the following categories:

Based on your individual needs and interest levels, you'll be able to customize a conference agenda that's right for you and your company.

Certificate Session Course

At this year's Credit Congress, an intensive certificate course, Business Credit Principles, will be offered. This course is separate from the Credit Congress educational break-out sessions. The course is held in five sessions, from Saturday morning through Wednesday afternoon of the conference. Participants must attend all sessions of the course. A final course exam must be taken and passed on the last day of the conference to earn course equivalency. Successful completion of Business Credit Principles satisfies a Credit Business Associate (CBA) course requirement. A certificate session fee of $299 and the purchase of course textbook are required in addition to the Full Delegate Registration fee.
