OK, last issue I complained about the record snowfall we had and how I didn't think we'd see any green grass before June. But what a difference a month makes. As daylight savings time rolled around in mid-March this year, so did the 60-plus temperatures and some blue skies, along with a touch of spring fever. Best of all, by the time we sent our files to the printer for this issue, the snow and ice mounds in the company parking lot were but a memory.

Be sure to check our front page for our trio of reports. The first is an interview with David Ferriero, now at the helm as Archivist of the U.S. The other two feature stories offer an update on e-readers, and speaking of spring, we take a look at the greening of IT enterprises.
