While the magazine publishing industry as a whole continues to find life tough, homes and interiors titles have recorded positive growth.

IPC's Ideal Home has increased its average circulation to 205,659 copies per issue, which is a 5.7% rise on the same period last year. Meanwhile, the circulation of Hearst's Country Living rose by 6.1% year on year in the six months to the end of June 2010 to 204,235 copies - the highest figure in the title's 25-year history.

Similarly, Country Homes & Interiors was up 6.8% year on year to 90,163, while its IPC stablemate 25 Beautiful Homes boosted its circulation in the same period by 9%, to 112,117 copies.

Homes magazines aimed specifically at women have also shown signs of growth. Hearst's Good Housekeeping has increased its circulation by 3% taking it to 422,496, placing it as the sector leader and 26th overall IPC's Woman & Home has also increased its circulation to 369,321 - a 5. …
