We have a lot of ideas-based people, so the process is a charged and excited one, but we always try to stay focused.

A never-ending supply of cakes, decent coffee, creative environment, dog comes to work, best-idea-wins culture, great benefits and policies and you always get a parking space.

- What is the main marketing challenge you face?

All marketing is driven cross-department, which demands effective, collaborative working. Also, we are going through a lot of transformation, with different brands coming online, which can be demanding.

- Describe the marketing team in three words.

Clever, brave, compassionate.

- Does the team socialise outside office hours?

The White Hart is the third office and we play rounders in the park in the summer.

- What is the company like for career progression?

Training is embedded within staff development. Our deputy chief executive started off as an intern fresh out of college.

- What about the salary and benefits package?

Considering we're a charity, the pay is pretty damn good and broadly commensurate with industry equivalents. …
