Because we work for a movie-streaming website, we get to watch any of the films we offer for free as well as sneak peeks of unreleased movies and other film-related goodies.

- Describe the marketing team in three words.

Better than LoveFilm's.

- What is the main marketing challenge you face?

Building our brand while keeping costs affordable.

- Is there a dress code?

There's no official code, but being based in Farringdon means there's an overall media look to be maintained - plenty of T-shirts with funny slogans and skinny jeans.

- Does the marketing team socialise together outside office hours?

Yes, but 50% of the team is more sociable than the other 50%. That isn't to say, though, that the entire team doesn't celebrate Media Thursday every now and again, especially in Farringdon.

- What are the hours like?

We are not uptight about working nine to five or staff being in the office. People are expected to work hard, but they do it in a way that suits them - at home, early, late, whatever, as long as everyone is putting in 100% effort it doesn't really matter when or where they do it.

- Are there any downsides?

The frustration of competing with companies that have more resources, more money and more staff, but fewer films on offer. …
