- How would you define marketing?

The strategised communication between a brand and its consumer.

- What would you be if you weren't a brand manager?

I'd like to think I might have been a doctor or an astronaut, but more likely I would be a famous actor.

- What advice would you give someone starting their marketing career today?

Get a foot in the door at a company that interests you, even if it is not your ideal job. Once you are in, work hard, never be afraid to ask questions and, most importantly, back yourself.

- What attracted you to your current job?

As a new brand, it was the creative freedom that really appealed. The opportunity to take the concept in any direction with very few guidelines and a small marketing budget offered an exciting challenge.

- What hobbies do you have?

Playing rugby for the Barnes 2s.

- What makes you angry?

Easily avoidable imperfections.

- What's your favourite holiday destination?

Anywhere in Europe. There is so much history there to be explored - that, and I don't really like flying.
