Aside from plentiful cups of tea and coffee, our vice-president, Ian Chambers, performs mystifying magic tricks. Also, if you love games and entertainment, this is a great place to see things first.

- Describe the marketing team in three words.

Innovative, creative, excellent.

- What is the main marketing challenge you face?

Our audience of males across AskMen and IGN is young, influential and tech-savvy. They rapidly adopt social media platforms and methods of communication, and quickly move on to the next.

- Is there a dress code?

No, but there's a fine collection of unclaimed hats on our coat stand.

- What are the hours like?

We're done when it's done.

- How many UK marketers are there?

We are a small but perfectly formed team of four, including experiential, digital and PR.

- Does the marketing team socialise outside office hours?

We're all gamers, so we regularly get together, from home, for a multiplayer session on the latest games online, and as an organisation you'll often find us down The Old Crown of an evening. …
