ProQuest, LLC reported that it has organized the company into strategic business units under the direction of CEO Kurt Sanford, who replaced Marty Kahn in July 2011. At the helm of ProQuest Information Solutions is Rod Gauvin, senior vice president and general manager. Gauvin, who joined the company in 2001 with more than 3 decades of experience in the information industry, will now direct all library markets.

Tim Wahlberg, senior vice president and general manager, will be in charge of the ProQuest Corporate Market Solutions unit. As lead for the corporate market business, Wahlberg will direct the offerings of ProQuest Dialog and the enterprisewide strategy and business development. Wahlberg came on board in 2011 from Thomson Reuters, where he had been vice president of the Thomson Reuters Corporate segment.

Michael Gersch will continue as senior vice president and general manager of Serials Solutions, but he will now also oversee R.R. Bowker, LLC, ProQuest's affiliated business. Gersch's new responsibilities will encompass ProQuest Workflow Solutions, which will concentrate on collaboration in discovery, content aggregation, and analysis services.
