When they make the movie of my life, my biggest concern will probably be who they cast to play me. Someone once told me I look like the guy who played Jesus in the 1970s TV movie Jesus of Nazareth, but that was probably more because of my long hair and beard than because of any real resemblance. So other than that, I really don't know if I have a celebrity doppelganger. Hollywood will just have get creative to find someone with the talent to handle such a complex, sure-to-be-Oscar-winning role. I vote for Morgan Freeman. He's awesome and has a great first name.

Billy Beane doesn't have this problem. The general manager of the Oakland A's and one of the keynote speakers at the RIMS 2012 Annual Conference & Exhibition was famously played by Brad Pitt in the movie Moneyball. In an interview for this issue (page 32), I asked him about how it felt to be played by such an A-list star.

"It was a little surreal at first," said Beane. "It was incredibly flattering, and as I got to know Brad, I was very humbled because, beyond being one of the most famous faces in the world, he's an absolutely fantastic human being and couldn't have been more humble, respectful and aware of what it means to play somebody in real life. …
