Twitter plans interactive tweets and content curation

Big news from Twitter this past week with the announcement that it is to allow users to select and curate tweets and add them to websites and blogs, which should make covering live events much easier. It will also allow users to download an archive of their tweets for the first time At the same time, it will introduce 'tweet boxes'. These will include things such as live polls.

Kellogg's Tweet Shop

Loved this idea. Special K has been getting it right and showing how brands can innovate with Twitter. For the launch of its Special K Cracker Crisps, Kellogg opened the 'world's first tweet shop' in London, offering a free box for a tweet. This generated a stack of good PR and was a nice way to bring bricks and clicks together.
