Elizabeth Price (Interview AM326) has won Tate's [pounds sterling]25,000 Turner Prize.

Artes Mundi 5, Wales's international art award with a [pounds sterling]40,000 first prize, has been won by Teresa Margolles, with Miriam Backstrom collecting the audience award.

The billionaire-backed Future Generation Art Prize has been won by British painter Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, who collects $60,000 in prize money and a further $40,000 towards production of new work. The prize is funded by Victor Pinchuk and run through his PinchukArtCentre in Kiev. www.futuregenerationartprize.org

Love Where You Live, a novel art competition with a philanthropic bent, has been launched in Middlesbrough. Open to anyone, wherever they live, contestants simply make a work on an official competition postcard and send it to the organisers. The winners, however, don't get any of the [pounds sterling]41,000 prize money themselves; they get to choose the Teeside-based charity that they would like the funds to go to. …
